The story is set on the ancient world where the world was divided into four regions, each region has its own characteristic Lakas meaning The Strong One (Enrique Gil) is a son of a commoner and a royalty. Due to his parents' forbidden love, their clan was exiled and they lived in poverty. Lakas became a warrior but joined the group of rebels later on.
He met Ganda or The Beautiful One (Liza Soberano), a skilled archer and asked Lakas to train their group to help them battle the monsters sent by the gods to punish humans.
They fell in love but Lakas betrayed their group. Ouch!
