Every movie fan has seen some movie/series scenes that either due to its intensity or excitement, can be considered as special ones.
The goal with this type of posts is for us to share those scenes that we thought were really something else, and provide a little bit of background so everyone can understand what is happening in the scene, and why it is special.
Today’s scene is from one of my favorite series of all time, Black Mirror.

Context: being an anthology means that every episode is an independent story, sometimes there are subtle references about other episodes, but the story is always 100% independent. In this particular episode, we have a girl that seems very out of place in what appears to be a disco from the 80s, but what is happening is that this girl is actually visiting a virtual world for the first time in her life, virtual worlds that people can visit any time they want, but they can also decide to move their mind into the virtual reality and live there forever. Here we can see Ross from Friends explaining this idea:
This girl ends up meeting another one, and they develop a relationship. What I enjoyed about the following scene is the emotional moment they both have when they decide they should meet in the real world, so far their encounters were in the virtual world, where they are both young and attractive, but in the real world, they are very different. Besides, by the end of it, there is also the nice song from Clint Mansell called “Waves Crashing on Distant Shores of Time” that adds a really nice touch to this scene.
