Twitter would feature a feature for tweetstorm

Failing to remove the limit of 140 characters, Twitter would work on a functionality that allows to circumvent it.

When the 140 characters are not enough to express themselves, Twitter users put their texts in a blog post, on a picture to post in a tweet or so do tweetstorm.

The tweetstorm that literally translates as "tweetstorm" is simply a string of tweets related. To do a tweetstorm, you have to tweet one end of the publication, reply to your own tweet with the sequel, then respond to that response and so on, so that everything is displayed in the correct order.

The problem is that doing a tweetstorm can be complicated for an average user. As a result, Twitter would work on a feature that makes it easier to publish these tweets.

For now, nothing has been officially announced by the microblogging platform. However, according to Matt Navara, social media manager at The Next Web, the Android app from Twitter would hide a feature that makes it easier to post tweetstorm. When questioned by the media, a spokesman declined to comment.

Failing to eliminate the limit of 140 characters

The limit of 140 characters on Twitter exists because in the past, the platform was used mainly via SMS. Today, if this technical constraint no longer exists, the limit of the number of characters has become the soul of Twitter.

Twitter has already been clear on this: the company does not intend to eliminate its limit of 140 characters. However, in order to allow users to post messages a little longer, Twitter no longer counts certain elements.

And by formalizing the tweetstorm (which Twitter calls thread in functionality), the microblogging platform would circumvent this limit, failing to remove it.
