Tyler Perry is so damn inspirational.

Tyler Perry has built 250,000sf of sound stages, a scale version of the White House, a regional airport set, a suburban town, a NYC backlot, a farmhouse, a 4-sided mansion, and has been maintaining a historic Army Base from the late 1800s that played a major role in WWI and WWII keeping its officers quarters, offices, and barracks in great shape. They also have massive fleet of production vehicles, including a ton of amazing vintage cars.

The whole thing is insanely impressive. If I heard correctly, he's shooting 13 TV series (260 episodes) and 5 films there this year alone.

And... Tyler Perry set aside $20M to pay people's property taxes in the area, so the effects of gentrification won't displace his neighbors.
