Two maintenance releases, TYPO3 12.4.2 and 11.5.28, were announced, aiming to improve functionality, stability, and security of TYPO3 installations. Users were encouraged to update their TYPO3 installations and take advantage of bug fixes and performance enhancements.
The TYPO3 community announced the Core Mergers 2023, which involves the inclusion of new members in the team responsible for shaping the future of TYPO3's Core. This development signifies progress in the evolution of TYPO3 as a content management system.
T3CON23 called for TYPO3 Award submissions, providing an opportunity for projects to win official TYPO3 Awards. The winners would be honored during the award ceremony at T3CON23, and the registration deadline for submissions was set for September 1st, 2023
