Your Enemy Number One

In this life everyone of us an enemy, even if you are one of the good and coolest person under the sun, there will always be someone hate you and never wants to see you succeed in anything in this life. This is not what it should be, but it's a life reality and its here to stay as long as we live. We can do two things about this, first I hope we will learn to live with such characters anywhere we find them. Second, It's my hope that you will not learn to hate.

It is easy to fight and resist a war or an enemy from without, but what if the enemy is from within. Because the enemy within your walls is the worst of all enemies you would wish to encounter. This enemy knows you inside out, he has been there since you were born. He has won many wars than you have against him. He fights you at any time and for any reasons. He is the super unified world and life champion, because even champions they have to fight him constantly some beat him some are terribly beaten by him. He is brutal.

He doesn't have huge muscles, but he beats us, he doesn't get tired, he takes advantage of our fatigue. The worst is he is the precondition for us to win any battles in life. If you cannot win against him, you can't win anywhere.

That enemy is called is self. You may have the biggest, sweetest and beautiful dream, you will never travel that road long enough without encountering self blocking your progress. You may go into marriage with genuine intentions to have a heavenly made marriage but you will soon have to to face self understanding in your way.
It is the same if you go into business, or pursuing your talent, whatsoever you endeavour.

You're mindset, your character, your discipline, habits, routines, appetite and your emotions will be the first enemy you will come against. Most people have lost all that they wanted to achieve in life, because the lost the war against self. When we are together with self going after our dreams and plans almost nothing can beat us.

Big talents in sports, academic, art, politics, business, leadership and church lost their big future because they surrendered to self. Self is not a friend of discipline, of practice for hours and hours, waiting, of hard work, self is not a friend of isolation. Self is a friend of now, pleasure and cheers.

But if you want to succeed, then take control of yourself. Throw away everything that slows you down, in the race to your destiny. The pill of discipline is better but always it produces the sweetest fruits in life.

Enemies around you are not lethal like the enemy in you. This years resolutions to be achieved, you must control yourself. Because the person who will fight your resolutions is from within. So learn how to fight yourself well and you may not need to fight anybody without. Success or failure stands on our ability to control or did discipline ourselves.
