I think All India Trinamool Congress party is slowly planning roll out trial runs of UBI as 'giving pocket money of Rupees. 500 ( around 7 USD) to all women in each family, every month from the government' if they come back to power in West Bengal after '21 election. Atleast that's what it seemes like after TMC's leader Mamata Banerjee suggested and mentioned it in numerous election tours this month.
This is the third or 4th time I heard about UBI from all around the world after this "Pandemic Situation" and this been used as excuse to Automate more and more industries with AIs and cut off human workforce to increase profits of powerplayers.
