When the Ethereum fork happens in september, mining difficulty will increase dramatically since it is a 'transitional' upgrade in the PoS roadmap. The september release is not absolutely sure since they already delayed it from August, but it will come sooner or later.
So my question is, will the significant difficulty increase motivate miners to switch to other ethash coins. Please keem in mind that this article may be a bit biased since I'm a huge supporter of UBIQ. I really believe in the fundamentals, no premine or ICO and their long-term stability and no-hype approach to crypto. There are also a couple of interesting projects switching from the ethereum blockchain to ubiq. It is also great for mining since even older graphic cards will be supported for the approx. next 5 years and people who have 3gb gpu's soon won't be able to mine ETH anymore.
So do you guys think miners will switch to UBQ or ETH Classic?
Nice article. I was about to post a similair thread. No matter how populair a coin is. People should always do a proper background check. It surprises me how many coins are out there that don't have their basics right. I really advice people to take a look at: https://www.coincheckup.com Since I use this site I make so much less basic investment mistakes. Go to: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Ubiq#analysis To check Ubiq Investment analysis.
