Chelsea easily defeated an injured AC Milan 3-0 in the Champions League, propelling the Blues into second position in Group E behind the Italian team.
Graham Potter's team entered the day in last position in the group and was in desperate need of a victory after losing their previous two European games.
Wesley Fofana's goal for Chelsea in the 24th minute gave them the lead right away. After Milan's defenders failed to clear a loose ball, the defender shot home from close range. Soon later, Fofana had a leg injury and had to leave the game.
Milan's finest opportunity of the evening came just before halftime, when they had a fantastic opportunity to tie the game but were unable to score.
Early in the second half, goals from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Reece James made it clear that Chelsea was in complete control of the game.
