Why We Decided to Run a Funding Campaign
Online education market accounts for about $165 bln. Even with a market share of 0.1%, you can make a whopping $165 mln. a year!
By using raised funds, we'll be able to gain a foothold in the market, attract high-quality traffic, develop our online platform and mobile apps for iOS and Android, and attract top instructors from other platforms.
At least 50% of funds will be spent on marketing. The biggest part of the money will be used to attract traffic through target ads on social media, CPA networks, and Google Adwords.

According to statistics, only 10% of students complete their courses on Udemy and Coursera.
The main reason behind this problem is that users have to learn mostly by themselves.

Lack of personal contact to teachers and fellow students
Using online education platforms means having little contact to teachers and other students. Online education fails to give users the opportunity to develop teamwork skills, social skills, and self-confidence.
Publishing a course is costly
Nowadays, online platforms are unwilling to support course authors. Furthermore, publishing courses is not free. For example, Udemy charges instructors about 50% of their earnings for using the platform.
Language barrier
Most online platforms and courses are in English. Plus, instructors teaching the courses are mostly English-speaking. If you don't speak English, you'll hardly be able to do a course. Users with intermediate level of English may fail to understand some important explanations, which makes learning less effective.
Courses are low quality
Other platforms offer lengthy courses that take 9 hours to complete, on the average.

Price for the content is to be set by instructors themselves, who will also be able to offer fragments of their videos and demo consultations for free before user makes a final decision. Moreover, instructors will have an option to publish a completely free content asking for donations in return.

Funding Campaign (ICO)
ICO begins on August 28, 2017, at 12:00 MSK (UTC +3:00).
ICO ends on September 28, 2017, at 23:59 MSK (UTC +3:00) / or once the planned target is fulfilled (meaning that 9,000,000 tokens are sold).

Following our funding campaign, we'll issue total amount of 10 million B1 tokens.
90% of tokens will be available to our investors. The remaining 10% will be kept in the BeOne Fund to be distributed among team members as bounties.
We will continue our work on the project regardless of the results of the campaign. Our priority is to bring the platform to users.
