8 HACKS TO GENERATE MORE UDEMY SALES

In this short guide, I will lay out 8 Hacks which I use in order to make several thousand dollars every month from Udemy and Skillshare. PLEASE RESPOND and TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!

HACK #1: FREE STUDENTS AND REVIEWS
Currently, my team and I have a couple of courses which outperform all other courses in the category. How did we manage to do that? 1. Get 500–1000 students into your course with a free coupon (you may want to use Facebook groups or the bestblackhatforum (http://bestblackhatforum.com, (scroll down)) in order to do so). 2. Ask a couple of friends to write you a review or send your course for free to some of your ex-students and ask them nicely if it would be possible for them to give you an honest review.

HACK #2: CALL TO ACTION
Create a video in the first Chapter asking your students to write into the Q&A section WHERE THEY ARE FROM and WHY THEY ARE TAKING THIS COURSE. The idea behind it is to increase the traffic in your course. Reply to their post by welcoming them to the course.

HACK #3: INCREASE TRAFFIC
Encourage your students to ask as many questions as possible. Make sure to answer every question in the course and ask questions back to the students. Thus, they will reply again and you will create even more traffic.
HACK #4: INCLUDE QUOTES IN YOUR COURSE DESCRIPTION
Make sure you include quotes from happy students in your course description. You can take these quotes from reviews. If you don’t gave any reviews yet, ask a friend or simply someone you know for an honest review and include it into the course description of your course.

HACK #5: TITLE & SUBTITLE SEO
Make sure the first word of your title and your subtitle are what students would most likely look for. Example:
TITLE: Startup Masterclass — The Ultimate Guide For Young Startups
SUBTITLE: Startup Insights, Free Spreadsheets & Professional Startup Growth Hacking Advice
— > GREAT COURSE TITLE & SUBTITLE.
Make sure that you include the word that describes your course best as often as possible. In this case, it would be the word „startup“.

HACK #6: INCLUDE VIDEO SUBTITLES
In order to reach more people, you can add subtitle to your course (or get your course translated by Teaching Hero ;) ). For example, if you have a course in English, ask a friend to add some Spanish subtitles or let him/her re-record the entire video course.

HACK #7: THE MORE COURSES, THE BETTER
Marketing is important. Nevertheless, if you are a one-man business and you have to decide between promoting your course and creating a new course, I would recommend you to create more courses. Our research has shown: The more courses, the better. By adding courses to your portfolio, your on-side position will become better and thus your earnings will increase.

HACK #8: COUPONS DON’T WORK UNLESS YOU HAVE A MARKETING AGENCY
Many instructors keep wasting their time with coupons. Our research has shown that most marketing measures by single instructors only waste them time.
