UFC Rockhold vs Romero

The UFC 221 is going on tonight.  Who knew?  Not me, but that is besides the point.  There is only one fight that I want to see tonight, so I will be streaming it on firstrowsports.  The main event in this fight will be a bloodbath.  This is actually a really interesting matchup.

Tonight we have Luke Rockhold going up against the Soldier of God Yoel Romero.  That is the most incredible nickname in all of fighting.  This is an interesting fight for a couple of reasons.  We have an Olympic caliber wrestler with devastating power going up against an incredibly well rounded fighter in Rockhold.

This fight is not going to make it to 5 rounds someone is getting hurt and unfortunately it is going to be the Soldier of God.  As badass and tough as a man he is, I just think that Luke is on another level.  Yoel has the ability to take most fighters down no problem, but that wont happen with Luke.  Luke trains with Daniel Cormier and D.C. can attest to Rockholds takedown defense.  

The other thing I hear people talk about is how hard Romero hits.  I don't think he will be able to hit Rockhold.  I think Luke will pick his shots until Yoel gasses out.  The only way I see Yoel winning this fight is if Rockhold goes for a lot of high kicks.  He throws kind of a question mark kick which if Yoel steps into it has an easy take down.  From there he can land some devastating ground and pound.  I'm sold on Rockhold if he fights mistake free.  I think we will see him focused especially after what happened against The Count.  Rockhold end of round 3.  Take it to the bank.  If you like what I have to say please vote for me and feel free to comment and follow.  Even if you don't agree with me let me know what your thoughts are on the fight.
