This post is a continuation of a recent one that we made earlier in the week. After some more research, we have decided to add a couple of more picks to our list.
In the fight between Yancy Medeiros and Alex Oliveira, we're going with Oliveira. We think his grappling and size advantage are going to be the key difference in this fight, and he will most likely take the fight to the ground, and win there. He's a fairly big welterweight and knows how to use his size to wear out his opponents in the clinch and on the ground. He has a very aggressive take down game as well.
Our fourth pick is Charles Oliveira. We are picking him to win over Paul Felder. We think that Oliveira will take the fight to the ground and out-grapple Felder. Felder will likely have the advantage in stand up but lacks a good ground game and good take down defense. We think the fight will be decided on the ground and that is why we favor Oliveira, as he is a highly skilled grappler.
