Jones vs Adesanya is nothing more than a pipe dream. Both fighters should focus more on the divisions they are in (or HW in Jones case) and concern themselves less with people 2-3 weight classes in difference.
Going beyond the twitter beef between the two of them people likely want to see it because of the similarities of them. Both have an extremely long reach for the weight classes they fight in and are very good at dismantling opponents over the course of a fight from a distance. In truth Jones grappling skill puts him far and away the better of the two currently, ignoring size differences.
Jones moving forward should have little issue clearing out whats left of the LHW division so long as his opponents don't get a one punch KO on him. Adesanya is in for a much tougher ride. He might be able to beat Whitaker over 5 rounds, but he still needs to worry about Romero who can pretty much finish anybody if they make a mistake. Should be an interesting next couple of years.
