Round 1

Kevin Lee missed weight and thus has to forfeit 20% of his purse. The big question is whether Edson can stay on his feet.

Edson opns with a hard right round kick. Kevin is pressing forward. Edson lands some punches. Kevin shoots the double and gets him down. Edson is trying to get up and gets mounted. Kevin tries to strike and Edson regains half guard. Edson gets back to guard. 2:00 left. Edson is mounted and Kevin lands punches and elbows. Edson is stuck and just eating punches. Edson's face is a mess. Kevin mounts again. Landing punches and elbows.

Round 2

Edson has a big welt under his right eye. Kevin pressures forward and has Edson on the cage. Edson defends and stays on his feet. 4 minutes left and Kevin lands another double legs. He has guard but is being grounded out. Edson can't do anything. Every time he tries to upkick he gets passed. Kevin grinds him out in half guard. 1:00 left. and lands elbow after elbow.

Round 3

Edson lands some nice body shots, but Kevin keeps moving forward. Kevin misses a double. Edson throws a spinning wheel kick and drops Kevin. They scramble and Kevin takes him down. Edson needs to get to his feet. Edson has guard and Kevin is trying to recover. They are on the feet. Both look tired. Kevin lands two jabs. Edson lands a front kick. 1:00 left. They are still standing. Kevin lands a hard right kick. Kevin is really slowing down. Edson is trying to recover.

Round 4

Both are throwing bombs. Kevin gets him down with a double leg 30 seconds in. He is in Edson's guard. Edson needs to learn some leg attacks if he is just going to stay on his back. 2:30 left and Kevin lands some ground and pound. 1:30 and Kevin mounts him temporarily. More ground and pound but not as brutal as the first two rounds.

Round 5

Edson with winging punches. Kevin is countering well and has cut Edson's right eye. Edson continues to fire but Kevin is on a double. Edson is defending so far, but Kevin pressures and Edson breaks away. They call the doctors in to look at Edson's eye and the doctors stop the fight.
