Felice "Lil Bulldog" Herrig came back from a long hiatus to show everyone the fighter we remember when her Muay Thai and gorgeous looks caught our eye by defeating up and comer Kailin Curran in the first round by rear naked choke. Felice started off in her home town of Chicago, Illinois by showing off a strong jab that confused Curran, followed by stunning body kicks that affected her opponent.
When it appeared things weren't going her way on the feet, Curran tried to take down Herrig, who has been training forever with UFC veteran Jeff "Bullfrog" Curran. Not a good idea. Felice quickly found her way on top, albeit in half guard, which was passed with ease by Herrig. After struggling with attempts to finish the rear naked chokes, Herrig fought to get the rear naked choke clean and finished her opponent.
It's great to see Felice in the best shape of her life, and overcoming personal obstacles that kept her from being the fighter I know and love :)
