The Reaper - Forced To Withdraw From UFC 221 - Due To Undisclosed Injury

Robert "The Reaper" Whittaker, has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 221 headlining bout against Luke Rockhold, due to an undisclosed injury. Rockhold will face-off against Olympic silver medalist, Yoel Romero, in the main event in Perth.

In a statement to the public, Whitaker expressed his deepest regrets, not to be able to defend his belt in front of his home country, stating that this was going to be the most important fight of his life. Whitaker will face the winner of Rockhold vs Romero, when his undisclosed injury has been cleared by the commission.
