Recently, the US government held a hearing on "unidentified anomalous phenomena" or UAPs, better known as UFOs. Three witnesses testified claiming the US government has evidence of alien technology and spacecraft but is keeping it secret from the public.
One of the witnesses was David Grusch, a Pentagon whistleblower who used to work for the government’s UFO program. Grusch filed a complaint accusing the government of covering up a secret program to retrieve and study crashed alien spacecraft.
Grusch told Congress he was told about a program going back decades that collected crashed alien spacecraft and tried to reverse engineer the alien technology. However, Grusch said he was denied access to this program when he worked for the government’s UFO program from 2019 to 2021.
Grusch said he has evidence including photos, documents and testimony showing the government has alien technology and spacecraft. When asked directly, Grusch said some of the crashed UFOs contained “non-human biologics,” meaning bodies of alien beings. However, Grusch could not provide more details in the open hearing.
Two retired Navy pilots who witnessed mysterious aircraft also testified. They said UFO sightings are common but rarely reported due to the stigma around UFOs. The pilots warned that the UFOs they saw had technology far superior to any human aircraft, posing a potential threat to national security.
While no definitive proof of aliens was presented, several lawmakers said the public has a right to know about phenomena of unknown origin and advanced technology that the government may possess. One representative said the government works for the people and should not keep them in the dark.
If Grusch's claims are true, it would mean the government has been secretly studying alien technology for decades without telling the public. Some lawmakers said any disclosure must be done carefully. But many feel the public deserves basic facts and transparency from the government.
