IT IS OVER..OR IS IT?

The last two months of lockdown have greatly impacted our lives in numerous ways. Most people forget that we had two weeks of lockdown before the extended lockdown of 42 days was slapped upon us.

The cries for government help spread throughout the country even though this was not the first lockdown since Covid-19 attacked us.

These cries for help can only mean that we did not pick lessons from the first lockdown.

They might also mean that we picked the lessons but lack the means to implement them.

Some of us have chosen to ignore advice meant to enable us maneuver through and around tough times and/or unforeseen challenges.

We are informed about what ought to be done but just like we dismiss advice from those we deem "motivational speakers", we behave as though it is business as usual.

The first lockdown shocked us beyond measure because we had not experienced anything like it before. It was suffocating to say the least.

The second lockdown should not have caught us unprepared because we were aware of what was going on around us and globally.

Believing it is over is wishful thinking. A look around us and around the globe is evidence that things will get worse before they get better.

Unless you save some of your earnings, you will always find yourself in need of rescue.

SAVING NOW WILL SAVE YOU IN TIMES OF NEED.

A smaller denomination in savings accumulates into bigger denominations with time. No saving is insignificant.

Diversification is a sure way of cushioning us against poor performance of a business we specialize in. Avoid overly specialising in a specific business. The "Who is Who" in various business sectors have Groups of Companies. Smell the coffee and join them increase your sources of income.

Manage your cost factors if you want to stay afloat and even thrive through tough times. There must be value for money. Spend more in pursuit of earning income than having fun or meeting personal needs. As you spend that money, ask yourself what you will get in return.

Build and strengthen your networks. We help and are helped by people within our networks. We have people within our networks who have the CASH,those with EXPERTIZE and those with CONNECTIONS. You need all three to survive and thrive at all times. All friends within your circles must come with benefits.

Strive to improve yourself.
Enrich your knowledge. Invest in increasing your knowledge base. Don't be like gents who put on ties but have never bothered to learn how it is done.

HOW DO WE RETURN TO OUR WINNING WAYS ?
