Why do some people give up on steemit even before they try

in uganda •  7 years ago

It is a story told by some people that steemit is fake because as some people do promos they tell people of the rewards and out of excitment some impatient people hurry to sign up because of money.

I for one believe that steemit is much more deeper than rewards, its not about the rewards people get on steemit for posting, i believe its all about passion, love for research, interacting with new people, sharing ideas, steemit is bascially an informative platform that enables people to know, discover new things that exist in different countries.

Patience is all it takes for something to eventually become bigger, it all starts with a small step then the bigger picture comes in.
But instead of learning how it all operates then one can take a step from that point, they want to rush into making money without deeply understanding it all
Sometimes as we go out there to make promos people are always interested in the major response of their question of:
How do we make the money and how do we withdraw it?
But why rush to all that even before u write an article? Some people do not like reading the welcome page yet it has the answers t o all the major questions they ask.

People majorly generally give up in life because they never want to learn from their past mistake where by they want to rush into getting returns and do not want to know how it all went so they give up because they feel the road to success is hard

Too many people judge success by the day--which isn't realistic, and here's why.

They set a really big goal, usually something that combines the proficiency of multiple skill sets, each of which would take years to master. That goal is then tied to some sort of hope relating to external validation: "When I achieve this, then everyone will respect me!" And finally, to top it all off, they vow to themselves to work relentlessly toward said goal, all without first examining their daily and questioning where in their busy schedule they are actually going to put pen to pad, brush to easel, nose to the grindstone and do the work required.

In short: they have failed before they've even begun.

Chances are, you are one of those people. That's because everyone on earth is "one of those people." We all, no matter how goal oriented we proclaim ourselves to be, have a knack for expecting things of ourselves that are unrealistic.

The dream chasers take a statement like that and say, "You can't stop me!" But even they fail to realize that their own success is not the result of brute force. Succeeding over the long term has far more to do with stepping back and subtracting distractions, rather than voraciously pushing forward. The latter is how you burn out.

All of that is really just the tip of the iceberg. Here are the real reasons people give up on their goals far too early:

Steemit is all about creativity and passion so people miss that out and when things dont work out they loose hope but they tend to forget the whole process eventually but does it have to get to this? We can try our best and persist till we reach somewhere because it persustance leads to success

Thomas A. Edson once said that our greatest weakness is giving up but the greatest success is to try again. The step you take will prove others wrong that you are a quiter makes u succeed and success is for those who stand and fight till they reach where they want to be.

Obstacles are what make us stronger because they show you a bigger picture about life and the obstacle you go through can help you and encourage other people if you persist and not give up.

A post that keeps some young people wondering about steemit is below

"You post content, people decide if they like it or not and depending on how ‘popular’ it is, you get paid. Being able to monetize your content is great and it’s about time that we have a way to do it. However, when it comes to Steemit, appearance is deceiving.
Through a new account called ‘thereverseflash’, STEEM was launched on March 24, 2016 under the premise of Proof-of-Work, No ICO, No Premine."

What should we do to overcome all this?

Lets try to understand how somethings work and we try to see how to apply them as we become open to change since its a vast world that has fast growing technology, we need to embrace it how it all comes and the learn how it works.
