Wala is basically a mobile financial platform.

it’s the money app that sits between banks, financial service providers, and value added service providers and consumers to create more efficient systems.

One of the biggest problems we do have here in africa is the extra transaction fees on almost every transaction. It's unbearable if one is making alot of these transactions regularly. With a increasing costs on almost every payment be it, electricity, data bundles, television, water bills and so on.
Wala attempts to ease all those transactions
I remember when i wrote a post about how the government of uganda is going to be charging a fee on every transaction done with mobile money. This would add up after the network took their share as well.

This is the post incase you missed it.
In Zimbabwe, the central bank banned the use of cryptocurrencies and anything to do with it. Remember people had gotten a very big opportunity in this country. And a big number of people had adopted the wala dala solution to alot of transactions. The bias and the restrictions is going to affect it's stay in there.
Now looks like uganda is the new kid adopting to the wala simplifications.
Remember here is africa i have noticed, using cash is the easiest and cheapest way of paying services and goods, who would pay for fees day in day out? with a large number of people struggling to get two complete meals a day
So wala is a bank right there in your pocket.
As i have told you, you can make free transactions, access loans, pay daily home bills without transaction fees.
