Diesel prices remain stubbornly high

The story in Britain is that while petrol prices are coming down, diesel prices remain stubbornly high. The following graphs are from the RAC:

While the price of crude oil has come down from $140 a barrel to about $100 a barrel, refineries producing diesel are under pressure as demand for diesel is high: diesel is used by lorries as well as cars.
