Parliament blocking petitions they don't agree with...it smells.

The Rub

I created a petition last week to ensure that the personal use of solar energy by private individuals in the UK remains free and untaxed in future.
As part of the process on https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/ you first have to get five British citizens to sign the petition before it will go live. I had five people sign the petition.

But before it goes live:
"We need to check it meets the petition standards before we publish it.
Please try again in a few days."

Well it's been a week now and still no petition for other citizens to support, no means of checking on the process of the "approval" process and no one to contact or liaise with in case there is an issue.

A big fank you to the UK Parliament and a one handed applause for creation a "democratic" system that filters petitions to only let through meaningless nonsense petitions like:

"Bring home the last dambusters Lancaster bomber."

Changing our country for the better every day...or not!
