This innocent 28-year-old, a self employed decorator had called for police assistance but over zealous officers arrested him. When he arrived at the police station he was violently stripped of his clothing and sustained very serious injuries by Welsh/Wales UK Police Force.

The footage shows the victim, Jamie Clark, clearly in agony as the cell door is slammed shut, his fingers are trapped and is left screaming in pain for a lengthily time while officers are outside the cell door! The father-of-one was arrested last June after a row with his girlfriend when a neighbour called police. But he was cleared in Llanelli Magistrates Court after his solicitor said he had been 'compliant' and standing still while he was arrested, rejecting police officers' accounts of his behaviour. Mr. Clarkson said that when he arrived at the police station he was stripped naked and bundled into a cell. "I went to get out but that's when I felt this huge pain and felt my flesh being torn away when the door was shut. I was screaming in agony. "I was screaming and begging the officers to open the door but no one helped me". He said, "I have never known fear and pain like it." He is now suing police for the loss of his fingers in the incident. A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said, "we can confirm an incident occurred on the night, whereby a male required hospital treatment after suffering an injury while in custody, the matter has been referred to the IPCC and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this time". A spokesman for the IPCC said, "we are independently investigating how a man sustained a serious hand injury in custody in Llanelli on June 20, investigators have reviewed CCTV footage and are assessing statements from officers". The IPCC investigation follows a referral from Dyfed-Powys Police. However if you make a complaint against Police, it is they, the PSD who are police who investigate themselves which is not fair, impartial or independent. PSD are Police! To cover themselves, they accused this injured man of assault, and they had nothing else on him, "IT IS CLEARLY 'CORRUPTION' AT IT'S BEST". Not all Police officers are corrupt and are in the job for the right reasons but these officers are bad apples that need to be routed out of the force without pay as it is only then the public can have faith in the system).
