TODAYS SITUATIONAL SUMMARY & ceasefire violation report from Ukraine War "Rebel" Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) E. Basurin.

"From 00.00 (Kiev time) on March 5, the agreements reached at the meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group in Minsk on the ceasefire entered into force. The enemy significantly increased fire activity before the ceasefire started.

In Dokuchaevsk, Staromikhaylovka, Petrovsky and Kuibyshevsky districts of Donetsk the enemy(UKRAINE ARMED FORCES) actively used 120 mm and 82 mm mortars, weapons of the BMP, grenade launchers and small arms.

The most intensive shelling were recorded from the positions of the 93rd Mechanized Brigade under the command of war criminal Klochkov. The Ukrainian invaders fired fourty 120 mm mines on Dokuchaevsk and the surrounding areas.

After Klochkov's recent crimes, such as the killing of a wounded serviceman and two doctors, the destruction of civilian vehicle, the Ukrainian occupation command sent a whole group of officers from headquarters to the 93rd brigade in order to exercise control on the spot. However, criminals still managed to inflict damage on civilians. The apartment on Tsentralnaya Street, 79 in Dokuchaevsk was damaged by an AFU bombardment. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

In Mariupol direction, the fighters of the 36th Marine Brigade fired four settlements by launching thirty six 120 mm mines. The enemy used BMP armament, grenade launchers and small arms.

As a result of purposeful shelling the power line in the settlement Tavricheskoe in Telmanovskiy district was again damaged. Residents of the village still remain without electricity. Repairing works are planned for today.

In total for the past day, before the ceasefire began, the enemy violated the "silence" regime for thirteen times. From 00.00 (Kiev time) on March 5, the Ukrainian invaders did not open fire on our positions. However, around 6 am from the positions of the 46th Battalion "Donbass" the AFU sniper opened a fire on the snow-removing machine in the settlement Holmovskiy. The sniper bullet hit a flashing beacon, which is a distinctive signal of utility machinery.

Today, 5th of March at 11 hours 10 minutes marines from the 36th Marine Brigade from the positions in the settlement Vodyanoe fired our positions in the vicinity of the settlement Leninsky from a large-caliber machine gun.

Since the beginning of the complete ceasefirehe regime the Ukrainian invaders violated it twice .

The units of the Armed Forces of the Donetsk People's Republic fully comply with the order on observing the cease-fire regime. Only on the basis of the desire of the Ukrainian side, will this truce become the first step towards peace in the Donbass.

Today the Ukrainian media published information about the capturing of Nikolai Pokusaev by the 57th Mechanized Brigade of the AFU. Pokusaev is a citizen of the Russian Federation.

In fact, Pokusaev, after submitting the necessary documents, was admitted for a probationary period to one of the divisions of the DPR armed forces. In the course of additional verification of the documents submitted by the law enforcement authorities of the DPR, suspicions arose in his criminal activities in the territory of the Belgorod region of Russia related to sexual violence, including against minors. He was refused a contract for military service. After that, his whereabouts to the command of the Military Forces of the DPR were unknown.

We assume that fearing accusations and transferring to law enforcement agencies, Pokusaev found himself on the territory of Ukraine. The falsity of the statements of the Ukrainian special services about Pokusaev's belonging to the DNP is also indicated by the fact that he did not have any weapons and items of military ammunition.

After psychological and physical pressure on him by Ukrainian special services, Pokusaev can be used to disseminate the prepared falsifications with fictitious evidence of the participation of Russian servicemen in the fighting in the Donbass.

Earlier, on March 2, the reconnaissance group of the special operations forces, operating from the positions of the 36th Marine Brigade of the AFU in the vicinity of the settlement Octyabr' captured the serviceman of the DPR.

Thus, the intensified purposeful activity of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to obtain intelligence data for the preparation of aggression against the Donetsk People's Republic is confirmed. At the same time, the subversive activities of the special services are activated after the February 3, 2018 visit of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Vasily Burba to Washington. At the same time, the Ukrainian leadership and special services are trying to publish fabricated evidence and accuse Russia of aggression against Ukraine. This creates an excuse for justifying international support for acts of planned aggression by Ukrainian troops against the DPR"

The junta in Kiev is just bidding its time. On 1 March, one the same day Putin announced that Russia had ICBM's that could hit America and evade its defence systems, the U.S. announced the export of several hundred javelin anti-tank missiles to Ukraine.
it is quite clear by listening to announcements coming from Washington that it is not interested in peace anywhere in the world.
We should always judge governments by their actions not by their words. Using this criteria it is clear that the Kiev junta is not interested in peace as it still attacks its own citizens with heavy weaponry.

OSCE observer reports note that on 4 March there were dozens of ceasefire violations in Lugansk - over 19 artillery explosions coming from Ukrainian army positions and numerous exchanges of machine gun fore.
In the Donetsk region OSCE observers recorded dozens of incoming artillery explosions.
Meanwhile, its observers recorded numerous ceasefire violations regarding heavy weaponry outside designated government storage sites. They recorded numerous tanks, armoured personnel carriers and a surface to air missile system along with 8 multiple rocket launcher systems.
I don't see any mention of this in the New York Times ate the Guardian.
