Ukrainian President Zelensky called on the international community for assistance on April 7 in the wake of a dam break and massive flooding in southern Ukraine, with the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) warning that the dam break has also caused significant damage to crops and will likely affect food security.
