Putin needed to drum up the pretext of Ukraine being full of Neo-Nazi's in order to rally support (rather excuse) for his invasion of Ukraine.

If we actually take a look at the stats, antisemitism is actually really low in Ukraine, particularly compared to it's peers in Eastern Europe.

In a server conducted by Pew, only 5% of Ukrainians polled would reject Jews as citizens. This is actually the lowest level in Eastern Europe, and much lower than the 14% in Russia.

By 2019, the Pew Survey found that there were still only 11% of Ukrainians who held negative opinions of Jews in their country. This was still the lowest in Eastern Europe, and considerably lower than the 18% in Russia.

Speaking of Jews, let's not forget that Zelensky himself is Jewish and was elected with a 73% majority vote in the 2019 election. The former Prime Minister was also Jewish.

How well did the ultra nationalist parties in Ukraine do in the votes? 2%

They current hold just 1 set out of 450 in the parliament.

To say that discrimination doesn't exist would be wrong. It exists in every country as it does in Ukraine. The Romani people and LGBT demographic tend to receive the worst part of it there among the public. However, Ukraine certainly isn't a country of Nazis.
