ULOG: Day 6: Stars, Snacks, and Some Other Things

Ah, my days off. Today was great because, as I typically get to do on Friday, after I take Aedan to the bus I get to go back to bed for a few more hours. And that's just what I did. 😁

Then I got up, had breakfast, and fed all the animals. They were getting quite demanding...

We have one turkey who always tries to peck at me now when I go feed everyone for some reason.

Then I had a couple hours to sit down and code some more. I completed lesson 4 on Google's Android Studio tutorial where I learned how to open a map to a specific location, share info into a text, and how to get that back arrow (called an up arrow) on the title bar when an app opens a new window or view.

At 2:30 we went to pick up Aedan from school, and then drive around catching Pokemon. Ok yes I know we cheat and should be walking, but our small town doesn't have enough stuff to make it really a feasable option. So we drove it. Then Aedan had to go to the bathroom, so we stopped at the library and Zara watched our phones for Pokemon.

When we got back to the car she told me she got me a Suicune! It was a reward from some field mission. Awesome! My first legendary! Then we had to hurry home for dinner.

After dinner we had to hurry back to the library and neighboring high school because they were having an event at their planetarium. Yes, my local high school has a planetarium. Isn't that amazing?

While we were waiting we were greeted with cookies and how chocolate. We got to watch a show about the constellations and how to find them, saw what planets will be visible this time of year, and a little about supernovas. Then it ended with some Christmas songs.

When we got home we had time for a couple games together, then it was time for bed.
