Another sunny Tuesday in summer time, and as usual the glorious sun is ruling over our country. It's super hot that the hottest model on earth would be shy.
> Hahahaha! Okay that wasn't funny at all.I woke up late so I didn't had my breakfast. I was busy cleaning my fish tanks for I think my fishes cannot already see clearly. haha
After I finished cleaning, someone texted me, my "ex". Well I considered him as ex for I broke up with him for a personal matter. We haven't seen each other for almost a month since he went back to Bohol for his summer classes. In his text, he asked me to come to their house because her mom needs someone to assist her in tending their bakery.
Her mom and I are really close.
)
So I decided to help her. At 12nn after I had my lunch, I took a bath and travelled immediately to their house. I saw her smiled at me so I smiled back. She asked me if there's something that her son told me so I answered "Yes he asked me to come here to help you" she smiled again so I asked her why. She told me to go to their room. A little bit confused but I did what she instructed.
I saw him, I saw him! For real? Silence took all over the room as we looked at each other. I thought he'll be coming home after his summer class. I miss him, I miss this man standing infront of me. I thought I am already okay, that I have already started to get over him but I'm wrong. He smiled at me, I smiled back. Oh I miss that smile, that sweet smile that used to lighten my day.
He cut the silence as he asked me to sit beside him. He explained everything, I listened. I let everything that's been bothering me out of my heart, he lend me an ear. He sincerely asked for forgiveness, I forgave him and gave him another chance. It's then that I realized that I can't afford to lose this man just because of a misunderstanding. I can't stand to choose my pride over him. Everyday was like a puzzle with a missing piece but now I am complete again.
In relationships, it is really important to express what you feel. Don't expect your partner to be a clairvoyant that could see through your minds. Also, one should be sensitive to the other one's feelings because sometimes it's already very obvious that the other one is in pain by our actions but we fail to see it because we are only after of our own happiness. We should always consider our partner in every decisions that we make, never neglect them.
Committing mistakes is already given to every relationship, no one is perfect. We should learn how to forgive and give chance, do not let pride rule over your mind and heart. Think a thousend times as to which one weighs the most because at the end of the day you might regret the decisions that you made. But, you should set an end in giving chances to avoid being abused. Sometimes, making someone feel your absence makes them realize your worth.
Our day ended great. We had dinner together. It's really true that love is sweeter the second time around.
