Ulog 32: Malbog

I was home again for two weeks. Together with my twin cousins, we hike on our famous mountain top which is called Malbog.
This is now a favorite trail for bikers and joggers in our place. The road is not paved going to the mountain top. There are few living there mostly at the sides of the road, but no one lives near the topmost but still the road extend until the next towns area but not maintain maybe because there is few people who uses the road. The mountains are mostly grassland, several slopes around are planted mainly with coconuts and fruit trees but not so much crops. This is mostly for cows and carabaos eating place.
Few people are farming in this part now. We can tell it is overgrazed and degraded. The water source are mostly far from the top. Streams are far down the hill.

The weather was nice at that time, not so hot. It was early afternoon and cloudy. We could see the rain on pouring in a western part. Here we can view several barangays up to the town and the sea. The ship was coming close to the Hilongos pier looked like a tiny drawing in a paper. One part of the mountain in the east is bare because of quarry. We could here videoke down the nearest barangay below the mountain that was echoing by the cliff.

Time to sit at the top of the mountain, see the bikers practicing, hear the birds tweeting and letting the fresh wind blows. Not good time for guava though. 😢😊
