Hello fellow steemian, ulogger and steemgiger. I hope life has been treating you well. As for me I have been busy with my online work that I hardly have the time to make a blog-post for awhile. Well except for those work-related blog-posts that I have been making as a bounty hunter and Airdrop participant. I was thinking about sharing with you what kind of work I do and how I can live off cryptocurrencies 100%. There is so many thing to cover in that topic that I just set it aside for now and just write about this cool new Steem-based blogging platform that our beloved @surpassinggoogle,our boy Terry, has initiated: https://www.ulogs.org/ For the benefit of new steemians especially for those who just recently signed up let me give you a quick background to make sense of the different Steem-based portals/ interfaces/ condensers/ front-ends /websites/user-facing application/ dApps (decentralized apps).
Steem-based decentralized applications

Steem-based portals/ interfaces/ condensers/ front-ends /websites/user-facing application/ dApps (decentralized apps) means essentially the same. They are all build on top of the STEEM blockchain which means these applications can partake in the freely given STEEM-currency rewards as incentive for sharing valuable contents in the platform. Steemit is the FIRST dApp that was released by the founders and developers of the platform. This is a blogging platform initially but has become a repository or explorer of the different contents of the other STEEM-based applications. This also serves as the default application for all Steem users as it serves as the Main wallet online interface as well as the decentralized exchange for STEEM currencies.
Okay let me simplify my explanation a bit I know there are a lot of techie terms there that might be a little bit confusing for noobs. Just remember this: STEEM-currencies are digital currencies that are freely given as rewards to sharing content in a STEEM-based application such as Steemit and Ulogs. These rewards can be converted to real money that you can cash out by using the different exchanges available online such as Bittrex, Binance, Gopax, Openledger and Blocktrades. Rewards are acquired whenever someone Upvotes (an action that is similar to liking in faceabook). Simple enough right? Yes it is. It is as hard as 1-2-3 !!!

How do I join Steemit and Ulog?
It is easy to join. You just need to register here. There is no investment needed you just need to have a valid email address so that they can send you your validation email and where you can get notified when your account has been created. Account creation can take up to a week to create so please be patient. There is a way to create accounts immediately but this will cost around 5 STEEM which is about 8-10 USD or or 500 Philippines Pesos. You can have it created here: https://anon.steem.network/ this is a services created by one of the top witnesses (People who run Steem's ecosystem) in Steem blockchain ecosystem @someguy123 therefore you can be assured this is legitimate.
UPDATE: Oh wait I forgot to tell you sir @surpassinggoogle gives an even better deal he can create an account for you totally free!!! Yes you heard that right he is giving away instant accounts. If you want one please email me here: [email protected] or you can go message me in facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100012449075439 and I will relay the message for you. You know he is supporting over 5000 steemians. He is very busy.
Just a reminder you don't create your own password for your account they are automatically generated by the system. There is no way for you to restore your old password once they have been lost or forgotten. Therefore it is a MUST that you save your password somewhere safe and where you can retrieve it just in case. So once you are given you password back them up right away.
#What to do next after signing up?
Once you have your account you can start creating content. For starters I suggest that you make a short write up about yourself. It is just a short narrative about yourself so that the community can get to know you better. You can also share what type of content you plan to share in the Steem community. I suggest that you share or write about articles that you are truly passionate about. As for me a like sharing cryptocurrency related articles and helpful articles that will let my readers know how to leverage the different Steem-based applications.

I also write about other platforms and cryptocurrencies that enables bloggers to utilize Steem-based appications to earn other tokens. This activities are called bounty programs in which a blogger is commissioned to write about a certain topic to enter in a contest or for consideration of cryptocurrency rewards. In fact in one of my article I was able to earn about $2700 USD worth of cryptocurrency for a Steem blog-post that earned lest than $1 USD from the reward pool of Steem. Another friend of mine also won a cool $2500 worth of cryptocurrency using steemit platform for his submission.
Of course as a beginner you will have to learn a lot of stuff like navigating through the platform, setting up your account and once you start writing, the syntax on how to incorporate links, images, tables and some formating in your blog-post. This is the primary why I suggested to use the Ulogs interface as it is much easier to use than the default Steemit editor where you can just enable the commands just by clicking certain icons.
How do I earn exactly?
video source
To earn in any Steem-based decentralize application like Steemit or Ulog you have to first create content. Since the focus of my blog-post is about ulogs I will just concentrate my discussion about this particular condenser or website. Basically Ulogs are just LOGS about YOURSELF. There is so many interpretation what it is and you can just search Steemit there are thousands of ulogs being created by people around the world. As for me [Ulogs]((https://www.ulogs.org/) serves as a summary of things that I think is significant in my day and share them as a form of log in [Ulog]((https://www.ulogs.org/). This is a very simple concept but enables common netizens to became fans and celebrities of one another.
Hence, Ulog for the writer it is a way of sharing a part of his or her life one day at a time to readers/fans; presented in a way that you act like a celebrity. for readers, it gives you a short insight of their thoughts, personality and even perception in life. Just by sharing of your life story by ulogging them you will be given the opportunity to be rewarded Steem-currencies! Easy right?! Well of course it is expected that the ulog you present is Fresh ad not Copied and if parts of your write-up are taken from other's works you should always cite the source.
Where and when do I get my payout?
You get your rewards from your blog-post in your internal wallet in Steemit. Pay out cycle is exactly 7 days after from the moment you first posted your blog-post. You have exactly 7 days to earn from your blog-post and you have also 7 days to be able to edit your blog-post. After 7 days you will not be able to earn any more and from your post and edit it. The Steem system will send you your accumulated rewards in your internet wallet.
You can convert your Steem-rewards easily using the different types of payout methods I typically use oexchanges like Blocktrades, Openledger, Bittrex, Binance, Huobi and Gopax. Which one to use is just a matter of personal choice. I have been using Blocktrades and Bittrex since the beginning therefore I am leaning towards both platforms. It must be noted that you must be registered in their site to be able to use them (except for blocktrades which offers non-custodial exchange). Some of the exchange has mandatory KYC policy therefore you need to have proper ID's.

Once the Steem is converted to BTC or ETH you can send them to your Coins.ph account where you can convert them to Peso and send them through the many cash out options available like Gcash, ML lhuillier, LBC Pera padala, Palawan, Bank transfersand Many more. Recently, it has been brought to my attention that Coins.ph as enabled deposits for Ripple and Bitcoin Cash. This is great who wants to remit money to the Philippines as both cryptocurrencies cost less to send and transmits faster compared to the Bitcoin and Ether.
Where can I get additional help using Ulogs and Steemit?

For those are not yet comfortable working with cryptocurrencies do not fret as there are several communities that are willing to help. I can recommend you to some if you are interested. Just comment below if you are interested in joining some of these communities. If you are just learning how to make Ulogs or steeming in general, I suggest you attend the weekly talk show of @surpassiggoogle in discord in Steemgigs channel. Here is an invite link: https://discord.gg/FZY8jQu
That is it for now guys I hope you found my blog-post today interesting. Please stay tuned for a review of a new remittance company that I have discovered recently that uses the same technology Steem which serves 7 different countries. I am still verifying my account to make a more in-depth review of the platform. This company enables you convert crypto to fiat and send through banks and remittance centers in 7 countries including the Philippines. Can't wait to have my account verified. Maybe this remittance company is more susceptible in bringing STEEM/SBD to Fiat services since they are familiar with the technology.
If you have not done so please consider @surpassinggoogle to be your witness. You can do this by clicking on the banner bellow and puttings steemgigs as witness or surpassinggoogle as your proxy.

Yes indeed it is an awesome new condenser. For an alpha release it works amazingly well. Except of the random resets in the editor.

Haha I don't really pay much attention to skeptics kuya. I figure they are usually the ones who lack attention, greedy or feeling superior who wants to lord over other steemians. Besides I am too busy with work and helping others to succeed in this platform :p
