Sunday around midnight my boyfriend finally arrived home

I was so ready for him to get back home, as it was quite draining spending a full 8 days with the little lady alone. The constant talking, asking questions, needing attention, I'm used to share these exhausting moments during the weekends lol. Now it was just me 8 full days, and I was so happy when Sunday arrived, knowing he'd be home in the evening.. The Sunday was a day with clouds, thunderstorms and rain, perfect weather to be cleaning up the house, doing laundry and packing for the holiday at the lake. All windows open to have a cool breeze inside the apartment, and trying to clean up everything as much as possible. Normally we do this together, but as my other half didn't arrive until midnight, I knew most of the work would be on me. But I managed, and boyfriend did the last cleaning up in the morning before leaving..

Train ride went by pretty quickly this time

Unlike last year, when we were sitting in the sun behind the window in the train without being able to open the window, this time we sat on the other side and weren't boiled in front of the window. The reserved seats were taken, but there was another spot where we could sit just as good, so we decided to just sit there as it was a big family sitting on that part of the train. Before we knew it, the beginning of the lake was reached, and we were treated with the instant holiday feeling looking at the lake. Although it wasn't new anymore like last year, we were quite happy to almost be at our point of destination. I was looking on google maps to see there was one more stop before we were at our stop, but when we stopped boyfriend suddenly shouted: this is our stop!!!! The train had already stopped and we were hurrying to grab our suitcases, bags and the little one to walk to the closest door to get out. Because of the stress (afraid that the train would leave lol) daughter was stuck behind a door when I tried to get the suitcase to the next area of the train, but luckily we managed to get out on time.. Once out, we could already laugh about it, but I was a bit stressed for a few minutes that we would be stuck on the next station instead of the one we needed to get out. But in the end it was all good.

Yesterday we went out for lunch and grocery shopping to have a BBQ

As it was still not too hot compared to the other days we will be here, we decided to grab most of our groceries yesterday. Meaning a pretty long walk in the sun, where boyfriend as packed with groceries. Last year we still had the stroller with us, but that wasn't the case anymore this year, so no stroller to dump the groceries in, but heavy lifting for him. After this we were all pretty exhausted, so we had a little nap inside with the air conditioning on, to wake up with the message that our air conditioning was now placed inside the apartment as well. What a luxury, coming back having an air conditioning. When we woke up, boyfriend heated up the BBQ and we had a nice dinner on the terrace of our apartment. No swimming the first day, we were too tired to walk to the lake again, so that's where we're headed now. Today no pictures from myself yet, I will try to make some today, and also hopefully catch the sunset on camera tonight.
