#ULOG: Computers are the future!

So, even though Sunday is supposed to be a rest day, it is not the case for me. That's because, well, I'm interested in Cybersecurity. In fact that's what I plan to complete my masters in. So I've joined this Cybersecurity Training Programme that I have to attend every Sunday for the next few weeks. What that means though, is that even that one odd day of the week that I used to get to rest, I won't get it anymore. But I'm happy, to be honest. Fuck sleep. Sleeping is the only thing we have to do once we die. So why not stay awake for as long as possible while we're alive?

Anyway, I had to wake up at about 5:30 am in the morning to study. I wouldn't get time throughout the day to study for exams, so had to get up early to compensate for that. Then I left for class at about 8:30 am, the only time of the day when the weather is actually worth stepping out of the house. Pune's weather has deteriorated in the last few years. But I guess you can expect that from a city which has the highest number of two wheelers in Asia. Population and pollution, two of the biggest problems.

The class continued for about eight hours. Yes, I spent eight fucking hours in front of a computer screen. But then, when you're doing something you love, you don't realise how fast time passes. And trust me when I say this, you really can't keep track of time when you're engrossed in doing what you like.

While returning from class, I took the bus and was just observing the people. The bus went from the rich parts of the city to the poor parts of the city. And I was observing. Observing people, what they were doing, how much of an impact money can have on their lives, etc. While there are the rich shopping and sitting in Starbucks in the air conditioned cafés, there are also the poor, homeless, struggling to find something to eat and sweating in the heat. All I could think of was why this difference? Is there something I can do about it. Is there something I can offer to the world? Well today, maybe there isn't anything I can do about this. But I promised myself, that one day, I will try to make things better. One day I will try to help the ones that need support. One day, maybe. Until then, let's work hard.

Thank you.
