Sounds like you had a bunch of excitement that you would have rather not had! Please be safe, it is bad when you need to fight back but cannot.

I really do believe that violence begets violence so I try to steer away from the violence if I can, but if need be I can protect myself and others. Think Buddhist monks. The reason that they studied Kung Fu was to protect themselves from robbery and harm. My sons too have been taught from a young age to protect themselves. Now my 5-year old granddaughter is learning too. I wanted so badly to step into a fray but in this case, discretion was the better part of valour.
