PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Bank BRI) provides an uncommitted line facility of Rp. 300 billion to motor vehicle financing company PT. Trihamas Finance.

According to the Executive Vice President of BRI Bank Sutadi Prayitno, cooperation with the finance company is to accelerate the distribution of BRI Vehicle Loans (KKB). "We have a consumer credit growth target of around 2 percent. This cooperation is to support these targets, "Sutadi said, after the signing of the cooperation at the BRI Bank Headquarters, Jakarta, Thursday (09/13/2018).

Bank BRI's consumer loans currently account for nearly Rp180 trillion. For the motor vehicle loan segment, only 10 percent of total consumer loans. "Our KKB has two, direct selling and cooperation with finance companies," Sutadi added.

Trihamas Finance President Director Gerardus Djudju Kusumo said the Rp300 billion fund would be used to meet the target. "Our target is 1.5 trillion. Rp. 300 funds from BRI to fulfill the target, "Gerardus said.

The uncommitted line facility by Bank BRI to Trihamas Finance is a form of Bank BRI's commitment and trust to finance companies. Trihamas Finance is one of the finance companies that has been established since 1993 which focuses on financing passenger and commercial / commercial vehicles both new and used.

The collaboration between Bank BRI and Trihamas Finance has been established continuously since 2010 with the facility of uncommitted line channeling and joint financing schemes.

Bank BRI also provides other banking services such as BRI's Cash Management System (BRI CMS), Cash Poolling, BRI Virtual account (BRIVA), Credit Cards, Current Accounts, Deposits, and e-channel Networks such as ATM machines.

During the period from January to December 2018, BRI targets a KKB distribution growth of Rp. 1.5-2 trillion. In general, the company's consumer loans show a fairly positive performance in line with projections until the end of 2018. Consumer loans grew between 16-17% year on year in the first half of 2018.
