JClic is an application that allows to perform different types of educational activities: puzzles, associations, text exercises, word searches. Among others, these activities may be aimed at students of Basic, Middle and even University level. JClic is developed on the Java platform, is an open source project and works in various environments and operating systems.

It consists of four applications:

• Jclic: It is the main program, and it serves to visualize and execute the activities.
• JClic Author:
  This tool allows you to create and modify the activities in JClic, it has a very intuitive visual environment.
• JClic reports:
  It is a database where the results obtained from the students are recorded after carrying out the activity in Jclic.
• JClic applet:
  It allows you to insert JClic activities in a web page.

What types of activities can be done in JClic

• Associations: It allows to relate two sets of information.
• Memory games: The pairs of identical or related elements that are hidden are discovered.
• Exploration, identification and information activities.
• Puzzles: An image is constructed that is totally disordered.
• Written response activities that are resolved by writing a text.
• Text activities: Exercises are always based on the words, phrases, letters and paragraphs of a text that must be completed, understood, corrected or ordered. Texts can also contain images and windows with active content.
• Letter soups and crossword puzzles consist of discovering hidden words.
