Hello fellow steemians,
I have been living in Quezon City, part of metro manila, for the past 1 1/2 years. In that time I've met a bunch of steemians on steemit and on discord who are from other islands and parts of Philippines. In fact, I used to live in Cebu before and always enjoyed the more laid back, country mix, while still having the sidewalks and modern conveniences (malls) of cirty life.
One sweet, friendly young lady I befriended on steemit is @steemitjean. She lives in Bacolod city, which is right by cebu and in the visayas of Philippines. I did some research on the city and found out that not only does it look so nice in her many blog pics, it was voted 2017 Most Livable city in Philippines! Wow! I just had to see for myself.
So I had my ticket and I was ready..
Look at the pretty picks I took in the air..
And after about 1 hour flight.. Bacolod..
I met Jean at a local restro and had some good french toast. Here's some cool paintings on the walls there..
End of Day 1 in Bacolod. I'll show you more sights in later posts.. :)
