Hello! Today I'm gonna share my second day in my OJT. (30+ days to go π₯) but this day was not that tiring compare to the last one
First stop, Tower 4 area.
Early in the morning, the site engineer was furious because of the slow process of the construction because of many problems. For example, this first picture lacks a beam in the middle because of the change order of the owner. And that is such a big problem for the formworks department!
But despite of it and the scorching heat, the views of the both building was perfect down here π
As well as the structural part of the flooring π
And that is my feet wearing the safety shoes that so heavy and big for me featuring the rebars π
This, my friends, is the shearing wall. This wall is for shearing forces obviously hahaha. But in simple terms, this wall is for elevators and for eatrthquakes.
Then, this is one of the many circular columns of the whole project. This one is the hardest part because of the shape of the column!
Moving on to Tower 3. This tower only has the footing part finished yet.
The workers are assembling the scaffoldings for the formworks to be started.
After that we went to the basement again. This part of the basement is where the escalator will be placed. Cool huh.
Then, there comes the rain. It is not safe in the site when it is raining so we went back to the office and our mentors let us read the general notes for us to understand the standards of the building. It was long and has a very small font but it was informative π
So that's all for today :) Stay tuned for the next day of my OJT because as much as possible I'll be blogging about it! Thank you for reading!
