This photograph is quite significant to me, this lopsided tree is a result of hurricane Maria that hit the beach side quite hard. It is my reminder that such a phenomenon really ocurred and I was here to witness it and take evidence to show the world and future generations.
I specifically took this shot to share with this community and I had saved this photograph and other chosen shots for to participate in #treetuesday. Unfortunately, what I had thought was a temporary issue as a result of the hard and long lasting conditions in the island of Puerto Rico, became a daily struggle which has kept me from posting much and sharing all the photographs. My spine is permantly damaged, but I am happy to be here with you all even if virtually.
