#ulog Day 14: Misunderstandings: Will it make or break a relationship?

Misunderstandings is really always there in a relationship. There will be always be problems. But the only difference is, HOW YOU FACE THE PROBLEM.

They said, misunderstandings/fights are like spices in a recipe. It makes the food tastier. Or, in a relationship, it makes it stronger.

But, which one will it be? Can a misunderstanding really make a relationship or break it?

Earlier, we had another round of misunderstandings. I got mad at my boyfriend because, I was chatting my aunt and she was telling me not to rely on him fully and all that stuff. And, I was trying to talk to him about it but, he wasn't even answering me and he was there, playing on the phone.

He gets mad at me when I don't talk to him but when I talk, he's not even paying attention that is why I got mad.

He was telling me that I sounded so cold on him. How would you even keep yourself lively if you are mad? Can you please teach me how?

And, I have a lot of things going on these days that I even feel so empty and exhausted. We haven't finished preparing for the Mothers' Day celebration yet and we do not have enough time left. And, more, we will be having the Vacation Bible School next week and we have A LOT of things that we need to prepare. And, we even need to study our lessons. And, invest more more more prayers! And, I am still thinking about my aunt and the thought that my boyfriend won't be able to go with them this coming July.

And earlier, DEPED called me about my application and they wanted me to go to their office for the interview so, I had to hurry and go there. I told him about it, YES. But he told me I was being mean to him.

I don't know why. Am I really mean? Is it mean to feel empty? Is it mean to have a lot of things to tend to?

Maybe, he just really need to learn to understand sometimes. My world doesn't just revolve around him. I am still trying to find a job because I know, in Steemit, it is not Christmas every day. So, I need a real stable job.

He doesn't seem to understand me. When I get upset, he gets upset, too. I don't know why because I believe in a relationship, if one gets upset, the other should stand and stay strong and help the other one carry the burden he/she is carrying. (I hope he'll learn that) I am not trying to be demanding here. I am not trying to be a controlling girlfriend. But, don't you agree? In a relationship, your boyfriend/girlfriend should be the one you can always count on to. That is why we call them "partners".

We have a lot of ups and downs these days and he was even saying we might not make it 'till the end. But, I still believe we can. I guess, both of us just really need to mature. We need to learn how to stand for each other.

He's getting so negative about our relationship but, I want to stand strong and fight for it because this is what I want. I want to end up with him.

But, I am just a human, too. I also get tired.

I hope he's going to be there helping me carry the loads I am carrying rather than adding loads for me to carry. :(

But, at least, we're fine now. We just have to talk about it more.
