YOU are ENOUGH! I am ENOUGH! steemCreated with Sketch.

Hi everyone!

Photo not my own... A random photo I found on Facebook

A new day, a new week! Every day offers up a change of a new beginning. Of a chance to change our thought processes, a chance to become more positive. To let go of the old and embrace the new.

Start every morning with a grateful heart and believe that it's a fresh start to not just hope for things to change but to BE THE CHANGE.

I've been on a quest this year and some answers I've found and some not yet but it's fine. I'm grateful for the opportunity to live where I live. To be with my family. To be able to walk on the beach each day. Some days I struggle with the gratitude part because we're so brainwashed to want MORE that we forget to be grateful for what we have.

I'm working hard on that part of my character. It's often a challenge. To be satisfied with who I am and not always feeling less.

We hold ourselves to man-made rules and regulations on how to live life and the fact that we've got to be accomplished, rich, thin, beautiful or whatever pressure you feel in life. It's not real. It shouldn't impact on us so much. I want to live a life of simple things. A life filled with joy. A life where I celebrate who I am and where I am in my life. Society makes that hard as social media often makes one feel inadequate and that is a load of bullshit. We shouldn't be allowing that.

Grab the day. Seize it. Be who you are. Be where you are. Change how you see yourself. See that you don't need to be more!! That you are ENOUGH!!!

I wish you a beautiful Monday. A day to breathe and to just be you. BE HAPPY. BE CONTENT. LOVE AND BE LOVED!

It is always important to be happy with what we have. :) @tipu curate

It can definitely be a chore sometimes, can't it? And it's not always the constant social imperative to have more, and more, and more, but the sheer monotony of every day life can get to be such a draaaaag; get up, get the kids up, get the kids to school. Start work. Let the dog in. Lunch. Oh yay, kids are home now. Homework? Snacks! Then supper. Wash, rinse, repeat. There are days - many days - it can be hard to be thankful for that, especially when there is not even a 'thank you.'

Yet somehow it all washes out and all ends up well. Full bellies, warm place to sleep, and a dog. :)

So true. I am always GRATEFUL. But as a non working mother and wife not being able to earn any moolah one often feels inadequate. That's a whole new blog on its own. I struggle with not feeling needed in my family because social media tells me I must be MORE? 🤔 More what? I'm not allowed to be employed on the permit we have living here so it makes life a bit difficult but I try and adapt to the situation. The monotony gets to me though. Everyone contributes in my household so there is not much for me to do. I have to keep myself occupied from dawn to dusk. Which on this small island is no mean feat. Anyhow. Done venting... 😂 You certainly asked for it with your comprehensive answer. Thank you for stopping by to read and comment. ☺️ Much appreciated
