ULOG #14: I Got My Early Christmas Present! (Something I'd Love To Have Since I Was A Child)

Hi Steemians!

It's been awhile since my last post as a lot of things happened these past few months. But right now, I'm so thrilled to share my excitement as I received my early Christmas present from my sister, @evlachsblog.

I even posted my "unboxing moment" on facebook because it's a moment for me to cherish forever. Haha! I mean it.

In order for me to get started to try this wonderful gift of mine, I played the very first song I had learned from my father. It's entitled, Shepherd Of My Soul. Here's my short video clip:

I'm really thankful with my sister, because I wouldn't think buying anything that looks expensive to me for myself even if I have the means to get it. That's why most of my stuff were just given to me and I am so grateful that I have a sister who gives and love me and my kids unconditionally. She's been very generous and kind ever since, not only to me and her family, but to some other people as well.

The piece I've sang is really special to me. First of all, I had unforgettable moment with my loving father with this song. He was patient to teach me playing guitar because he knew I was eager to learn and I was passionate about it. Secondly, the message of the song has touched my heart and I can really relate to it. God is and has always been my Shepherd throughout my life journey in the past. I was feeling lost for more than a decade, but He found me during the darkest moment of my life, and carried me like a little child when I thought nobody was there for me.

So after I played this song, I got a bit emotional and was reminded that God will always be by my side, no matter what the challenges I may face in the future. Above all, I felt the love He has for me and everyone of us.

Have you ever received a present that felt like you're meant to be with that particular gift? That's how I seriously felt when I got my guitar. Haha! I would love to hear your precious and memorable moment, too!
