It's Friday again ! another week has come to its end. The weather is still gloomy like yesterday, only few clients came this morning. Meaning i can do something for my @ulog for this day. Yey !
I have lots of thing to say to you guys from what happened just this morning. But I will save those for another time, So i just wanna showcase another Filipino Snack that make my energy lifter this morning.
My dear country Philippines is enriched of street foods perfect when you are hungry and need to eat something affordable. One of these popular street food is Taho.
Taho ( Soy pudding with caramel syrup and can be added of tapioca balls )
sorry for this complicated words you just read about the translation of Taho. Simply it's composed of tofu, brown sugar syrup and sago pearls, yeah ! much better isn't ?
This Taho is only for 10php ( 10 pesos ) each, a cheap food that can be found all over the country. Sell by vendors frequently every morning so you guys can substitute this in your breakfast. And don't belittle our Taho, yeah ! it is much cheap and found always in the street but this food is "remarkably nutritious". Also because of its sweet taste it can be also classify as a desert.
See, with just this kind of food your stomach will fill enough of nutrients you needed for you daily activity. Whaaat ? HAHA :)
Now these days, there are already many kinds of recipe made in Taho. But for me, this simple basic style of Taho is the best for me ( only serve in a small cup ). I really appreciate the way vendors prepare this before they sell. To think they will make this Taho before the dawn just for everyone to taste this delicious food. Also the way they also sell it is really hard, imagine they will walk for miles and shout while carrying that 2 metal jar connected by a long hard stick and placed in their shoulder, using their loud but nice voice saying "Taaaaahooooooooo". That's a very hard job for them to earn just small amount of money.

But considering our joy of tasting their Taho is also a great price for them, seeing everyone satisfied when buying it. I think the mindset of any vendors is simply making his customers enjoy the Taho than earning the money.
For that i prefer to buy my Taho to this kind of vendors than those in the mall or in the stalls ( no hard feelings pls !!! ), Any kind of Food is best when prepared by heart or by effort. ( please don't get me wrong in these, no negative thoughts okay !!! ).
BTW ! the photo above of 3 Taho, that was really mine, I bought those for only myself HAHA, I really craved when I saw the vendor already in front of me and It's been a long time since i taste this. You guys should try this, I guarantee to you that this is really delicious.
