#ULOG 554 - Daily Thoughts - 10 Dec 18 - Homesteading Today...

Good Morning, Steemians! :D

It’s a beautiful -11 C temperature morning here, with lovely blue sky, there are puffy clouds splattered through it, and we’ve also been blessed with sunshine, YAY SUNSHINE! :D

This morning while I drank my tea, I finished off that elephant jigsaw puzzle I started in my Microsoft Jigsaw program yesterday, here it is as I put the final piece in and it sparkled to tell me I was done. :D

Joker (1), Belle (3), Buddy (4), and Princess (5) enjoyed their oats, but Leroy (2) went straight for the warm milk as soon as his mom Belle got to hers. :D

When I came out of the barn to get the oats dishes, I noticed that Leroy (1), Princess (2), and Belle (3) were all happily enjoying the breakfast hay, but Buddy was still outside the barn looking for more water, which my handsome husband went to get after he got Buddy headed down towards the pasture. :D

Here comes my big goofy and handsome boy Buddy now. :D

He was followed by his goofy brother Joker, who went back towards the barn to see what the hold was up with Buddy, look at how handsome he is, I love that his horns match his coat, black and white. :D

My handsome husband has filled and refilled the buckets multiple times this morning, the herd was thirstier than normal, Buddy (left) wanted a drink but he was scared of my husband and wouldn’t go to the buckets while he was there, so I went into the pasture to make sure everyone got a drink without spilling like Joker (right) did with first ones he lugged down there. :D

My handsome husband and I spent quite a while with the herd this morning, me keeping an eye on them and getting a few pictures while he refilled and lugged water buckets down from the house. :D Once he carried the buckets down to the pasture, I made sure everyone got to slake their thirst. :D After Buddy (1), Leroy (2), Belle (3), Princess (4), and Joker (5) enjoyed their cold beverages they all went over and dug back into their breakfast hay. :D

I tried to get a picture of our handsome grand-puppy Shadow sleeping, but he always knows when I’m about to snap one and opens his eyes, I’m not sure how he does it, but he does, every single time. :D

The clouds are rolling in and stealing our sunshine, bad clouds, hopefully I’ll get a couple sunset pictures before the suns completely covered up, but the clouds are moving so quickly I might not. :D

Time to get the herd up to the barn for the night. :D

There goes the rest of our sunshine, dang it, no sunset pictures tonight I guess, at least my favorite tree looks lovely with the clouds behind it. :D
