ULOG #7: There will always be a rainbow after the rain

Hey guys! How had you been? Is the weather making you feel obnoxious? Irritated? Tired? Happy? I do hope you are taking good care of yourselves. If you reside in the Philippines or in any tropical country, please do not get yourselves dehydrated. Bring a bottle of water always and an extra shirt just in case. And also, always keep yourselves calm. Stresses come and go.

Well, for me? The scorching heat of the sun has been giving me a headache a lot. I could not imagine how others still manage to feel fresh despite the fact that it is just so damn hot . Whenever I get out from the shower, sweat would start dripping from my forehead down to my face. Can you imagine that?

The past few days seemed to have been a roller coaster ride for me. I was caught off-guard that the only reaction I could make is to strongly grab someone else's collar.

Series of Fortunate and Unfortunate Events

Whenever there are news, often times the person blurting it out would ask which to say first, whether the good news or the bad news. For this moment, I will share to you in different manners. I do not know though how these will affect you as you might become empathetic towards me on the situation I am right now.

Our order arrived earlier than mom did (haha) , but that does not matter. Just look how happy my dear brother is! After so many days of staying at home, he was finally able to go outside the house.

Like I mentioned in one of my previous blogs, my brother was operated (herniagraphy) and is still recuperating at home. He was told by the doctor that he needed to have a good rest and gladly he did. His wounds are healing little by little.

He had his check-up in the morning and the Doctor Pastor said that he is doing fine. To treat him, my mom brought him to one of the restaurants in Centrio Ayala Mall. He ordered while mom (@alfredotongco) was withdrawing some amount.

Although they were not sure whether or not I would be around, my brother ordered my favorite meal which is Sisig (parts of it comes from pig head and liver). He also ordered Kare-Kare (a Spanish type of dish I suppose but is loved by many Filipino).

He also ordered desserts for us to enjoy. Such a sweet young brother!

When we were through, we went around the mall to look for clothes to buy for my brother c/o our mom Dahlia. I never really expected that mom would end up buying one for me from Giordano as well.

Actually, I used to be the most spoiled child among the three of us, but then my mother trained me to be not like one.

On the other hand, my uncle (my father's brother) won in the local or barangay elections at Barangay Macabalan. It is where the sea port is located and some other government offices.

As family, we were so grateful that he won the third place as the barangay councilor. All his efforts are paid off. I could not wait though that he would assume the office on June.

I do not want and could not undermine him because prior to his filing of candidacy, he had been able to establish his name on different organizations. Such a hard-working man!

Congratulations, tito! Your efforts had been paid off. I could not wait on the day that I would support you on your advocacies.

Those two news sounded great right? But the last one does not. But I do really wish that there are twists and turns on this one.

Last Saturday, my Uncle Michael came home from Saudu Arabia to ask for a second opinion of another doctor. The doctor in Saudi told him that there is a mass somewhere below his torso. I know that news shocked him big time that is why he ended wanting to back to the Philippines a month before his said vacation.

As a family, we tried to compose ourselves as we were all filled with tension. We do not want to add stress to Tito and even to his small family.

Apparently after a check-up, he was told by the doctor that the doctor in Saudi Arabia was correct. There was a mass found. That thing with this then is that we needed to wait for the biopsy on the mass that was found.

Please help me pray that my Unle will get well soon
