Recently I sold my old timer (car) that I paid a lot more for than what I got for it.
I invested it into STEEM.
Yes I bought a bunch of Steem with it.
Yes I paid some bills too with some of the money.
Yes I paid for 12 months of my witness server (up through Feb 2020) with a part of the money. (Again invested into Steem)
Now I am using my money (my Steem) as I believe is best for the goals I have set out in life.
I TRULY RESENT SOME PEOPLE TELLING ME WHAT TO DO WITH MY MONEY.
Short and bitter U-log.
& for those that think that they have the right to tell me what to do with my hard earned money, well, you know what, fine, "you think that you have the right to boss me around".
I disagree.
& I am not going to be two faced and tell you what to do with your hard earned money that you invest into Steem one day.
Here is a photo of my little man in his car and in the background is my old timer, my pride and joy just prior to it getting the final touches and sandpapering the hell out of, getting it ready for the paint job.

Painful to look at it, but hell, I believe in Steem and that one day it will bring a lot more good to my family than an old timer that I can't bring back to Australia with me anyway.
So there it is, just wanted to get this out of my system, as there are people out there who "think they have the right" to tell me what to do with MY HARD EARNED BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS!
OUT
Sorry to hear that you weren't able to get as much back as you'd put in for your 'old-timer'. Cars never fetch as much as they should with resale. (Well, maybe if one's a dealer but otherwise, nope.) Once, my car was slammed into by another that skidded through a light. The insurance company said the vehicle was totaled and then they gave me the 'full value' of the car (about $500) so that I could purchase another. Funny how their idea of full value and mine are so different. I had a working vehicle that was paid off and they give me enough $ for a down payment to make more payments. (I found out later that I would have made more just stripping it down and selling the parts.)
I don't understand where anyone gets the idea that they can tell others what to do with their earnings. First of all, it's nobody's damn business. Second of all, I have lots of brass but even I don't have the hang lows to say that to someone. 😲
The pic of your little man is ADORABLE!! 😻

You know, half the time, the people complaining are those that don't even bother to see what a person is doing, why they are doing what they are doing and most importantly, they don't care.
All they do is blabber stuff out, without even thinking about it, nor doing any real homework, they ASS+U+ME things and that is that.
Geeeez!
While in actual fact there is so much behind it that most people who do have half a MB of brain cells sit back and wait to see where it all leads to.
Luckily I'm replying with my alt account here (it's me JACK) and I can say stuff like:
"Some people really need to pull up their pants and give their mouth a go".
I would never dare say that with my serious account (jackmiller).

Maybe they believe that if they think about things (at all) then their heads will bust a leak. 🤔
Ha!!! 😂😂😂😂😂 At least then their mouths would be doing something useful. 😁
Thanks for the laugh and I hope you have yourself a good one!

Ohhh I can't wait til I finish what I am up to and get it all out into the open with facts and no more "I think" or "my opinion is".
Even if I know it won't shut the trolls up, it sure will be useful and shall serve to make some things better, if there is any will power to do it.

I read your post and cheered up. Many close people give me the same advice on how best to deal with money. But I listen to them and do it my own way. I also believe in a great future steem

Mate been a while since I’ve checked in so good to see you’re still posting and supporting Steem. You can do whatever you like with your hard earned shekels and anyone who says you can’t can get stuffed.

Hey mate, long time no see.
Hope you are well, wish you and all your loved ones a lot of health and wealth in 2019.
Yeah, I was just letting some steam off with this ulog post and having people telling me what to do with my money and what I should or shouldn't do with it, while they expect everything for nothing, all I can say is BUGGER THEM. (this is the very polite version)
Especially when they don't know ANYTHING about me and how hard I worked for it all. Nothing fell out of the sky for me. But some people, man, seriously, the nerve.
Cheers mate, thanks for popping in, put a big smile on my face.

You mean vote farming using bid bots in your comment section on the sly?
You can do whatever the hell you want, Jack, but I guarantee the community is going to have a say with your rewards once it is brought to light.
