Tinago Falls is one of the waterfalls on the Agus River that is located in between of the town of Linamon and Iligan City, Lanao del Norte in the Southern Philippine island of Mindanao. It is also one of the main tourist attractions of Iligan which is a city known as the City of Majestic Waterfalls.
This is the main entrance going downstairs before you reach the falls.
Tinago Falls is a Filipino term meaning "hidden", the falls that being hidden in a deep ravine. Trekking going to the falls requires approximately 500 descending steps called the "winding staircase". 😌
The falls is high and its very cold waters cascading a beautiful deep and calm basin-like pool which appears like a blue-colored lagoon (during good season or weather). Under the falls, there is a small cave where people can enter, have massage theraphy to the falling waters and listen to the rumbling waters for your relaxation.
There are also part of the falls that are Small streams good for children.
The main falls is 100 feet deep or aprroximately 10 meters. 😱 The officials in that place will not allowed any tourists and even residents in that place without a life jacket for safety.
Life Vests cost Php35 for rental.
We went there with my whole family.
We climb the rocky part of the falls just to take photo on its view.
They are my older sisters. We climb together up there. Even if it is a little bit scary and not safe, we're thankful we got there successfully.
The best experienced we had together with my family was that time when we ride that bamboo boat going to the falls. It cost PHP30 per head for adult and PHP15 for children.
Its really a lot of fun when you reach the falling waters that started to dropped on your skin. It seems like you were tickling by it or being massage by the water. Its so funny because my mother were starting to be anxious because she thought that the boat was sinking but its not.
There were limited cottages in there and badly we don't rent a good one but its okay.
We also let our puppy experienced all that we had experienced but we took it very long to make him dry. 🐕
We took picture together for our 2nd visit in there. Last time was just us but now with the family already.
Now its time to go home.. Bye for now! 🤗
