IT WAS BUSY

My day began with a cloudy weather, then forceful wind, then a heavy down pour from above. It rained heavily and I was set for a meeting at 12noon at Ikeja G.R.A in Lagos with some of my SOCASEMP team members.

The previous day, a plumber came to fix some plumbing issues in my house and discovered some electrical faults. He promised to come with his friend at some point but didn't specify when he would be coming. He came with his electrician friend just before the rain began and gave me a call that he was waiting at the staircase because of the rain.

I told this dude that I was planning to go out for a meeting and that I will see him on my way out. Meanwhile, I was preparing a document for my client and had limited time to send it across. Immediately I finished the document, I quickly rushed to have my bath. Came out to get ready and the plumber called me with screams on the phone that I have been keeping him waiting. I had to talk some sense into his brain. I didn't invite him. We never had an appointment. He didn't have the right to talk to me rudely. I put him in his place. The rain had ended.

Next up was the meeting at Ikeja G.R.A. I was going from Ajah to G.R.A and that's quite some journey, considering the traffic nature of Lagos. I left at 10am and I was hoping to keep to the appointment before 12noon as agreed.

I was convinced that I am my team will get there early and we did it. We were in by 11:57am, sitted and waiting to be called upon for the meeting. The meeting started at 12:15pm and lasted for approximately 3hours. It was a fruitful meeting and we were all excited about the meeting.

This month of MAY was proclaimed to us as our month of favour and we are experiencing favours in everything we do. After the meeting, I had to cut my hair. 😀
I have a special dude that does my haircut in Yaba area of Lagos.

After that, it was time to go back home and as usual, the Lagos traffic played it's role in making it longer. Many people in Lagos State spend more time in traffic than they spend in meetings, or appointments.

My day was busy and fruitful. I made progress and had some little fun in general.
