ULOG#003: For the First Time

Hey uloggers, this is a wonderful day for me because I did something unusual for myself. You want to know why?

Well, let me start this by praising to our number supporters here in #ulog and amazing person himself Sir Terry my steemit crush @surpassinggoogle.

This face just love to eat but not to cook.
I do not cook. Yes, you heard it right. I don't know how to prepare foods for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Sounds disappointed?! Being in a big family with 6 siblings, maybe I am the one who did not done anything at home or sometimes only washing plates but not in the kitchen duties (in short tapulan or lazy).

One of the reason why I don't cook because I am afraid to try or criticise from the other persons. At home, my parents and my sisters done cooking for the family. If my parents are busy, my other younger sisters will do kitchen works.

Maybe the other reason is I am lazy to learn or not just a try. Instead of doing it, I'd rather devote my time in reading my favorite books that I bought from the Booksale or National bookstore. Spending hours to my part time jobs like steemit blogging and my other commitments.

And today, uloggers, I want to share my one of the accomplishment that I done today is to cook something in my lunch. Yes! This is the first time. I am alone at home, and no one will prepare for the viands so I try looking ingredients in our refrigerator and here what I find out.

This is an affordable packed meat in the stick or good for barbecue. This was bought by my sister in the robinsons. You know what, it is marinated already. You dont need to put anything because it is already seasoned.

Since I am hungry I get three sticks and slice into thin pieces. I do not know any cooking terms but small squares of meat.(Yay,is it the right word?!)

I get some onion and garlic for sautee later.

A little distant from the pan with oil. Well, actually I did not cover my face.lol!!

This is just simple for the chef or people know how to cook but not for me. After sautee next is to fry the marinated pork.
And the result is...

This is just simple things and some of you think it is just nonsense to share here. But this is something that I am proud of. Little accomplishments in life is a big achievements in my part. Cooking is not my craft and I'd rather to eat in fastfood chains. But I realized today, to cook in your own way without any help is already fulfillment for yourself.

Yes uloggers and steemians, from now on I will devote some of my time to learn how to cook. Someday, I will make sure that I will be the one to serve my love ones with their favorite foods in the table.
