3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
WE SHOULD ALWAYS CHECK THE MOTIVES OF OUR HEARTS, WHENEVER WE ASK GOD OF OUR DESIRES. THE LORD KNOWS WHAT ARE OUR MOTIVES WHY WE ASK SUCH DESIRES. IF WE ASK ONLY TO SATISFY OUR FLESHLY DESIRES, THEN WE CAN NOT EXPECT ANY ANSWER TO OUR PRAYERS.
